Praxis II: Art Making

Along with the 2 other tests that are keeping me from studying for it.

First Bulletin Board!

For my pre-student teaching observations I go to a nearby elementary school about 4 hours a week and yesterday I decorated my FIRST bulletin board!!!! The teacher geek in me got ridiculously excited! I also got to teach a lesson on Tuesday and I was ECSTATIC! This week has definitely been encouraging!! I can't wait to be a teacher!

And I fully expect those torches to be in the hands of some 4th grader right now, but oh well :)

Ugh.

Today is one of those days where I wish I wasn't an art education major.
I'm stumped. Really stumped. I have a 2 year curriculum to plan and I have no clue what I'm doing.
Teaching is so hard. Even if you're a natural at it, all the planning is a real killer.
And I just started/finished a watercolor portrait that I hate.
Today is not my day.
